Harvest 2013 kicked off at Jordan on Friday, September 6, and we’re already half-way finished picking all of our Russian River Valley Chardonnay grapes. It’s shaping up to be a very quick, exciting harvest. The picking might be going fast, but those grapes have had a long, moderate growing season to fully develop beautiful flavors. Other than a little humidity during the summer, the weather throughout the growing season has been ideal. Vintage 2013 may very well be a classic. Watch our first harvest report video of 2013 to learn more.

We start picking our first red grapes tomorrow: Alexander Valley Merlot from growers Bret Munselle and Mike Mazzoni, as well as some Alexander Valley Malbec from Farrow Ranch. Stay tuned for photos on Twitter.
