More than 200 Jordan Estate Rewards members turned out on a chilly, yet sunny Saturday afternoon for our annual Christmas at Jordan event. This year’s party celebrated the spirit of Hawaii, allowing our chef to show off his culinary roots (he grew up on the island of Oahu) and inspiring our events director to transform the barrel cellar and oak tank room into a tropical oasis. An array of  wines, foods, music and activities helped warm guests’ spirits. Highlights included: library vintages of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon–1976 (750mL), 1978 (6 liter), 1981 (1.5 liter), 1996 (3 liter), 2002 (750mL), 2003 (1.5 liter)–a tropical menu of Kalua pork sliders, dim sum, Maui onion soup, and passion fruit panna cotta (just to name a few), as well as four performances by different dance troops, a flipbook station and a traditional photo booth.

Aloha Christmas at Jordan 2013

This was the second time since the creation of our holiday party that the Aloha Christmas at Jordan theme was selected. The Jordan family have a decades-long tradition of celebrating Christmas on the Big Island of Hawaii, and after the success of our first Aloha party three years ago, we decided to bring it back for an encore.

We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season. Mahalo!
