Looking for a local wine tasting or wine country event? Here’s a sneak peek at Jordan Winery’s 2014 special event calendar, which includes new dinners and parties at the winery, as well as festivals across the country and key dates for Jordan Estate Rewards members.

Cochon 555, New York, NY (January 26)–An epic pork event featuring five chefs in a culinary competition promoting the benefits of cooking whole hog. The chefs include Frank Langello of Babbo Ristorante e Enoteca, Michael Toscano of Perla, Seamus Mullen of Tertulia, Lauren Hirschberg of Craftbar and David Standridge of Market Table. Guests will enjoy 30 chef-prepared dishes, pop-up butcher shop, beers, wines from select producers (including Jordan), oysters, artisan cheese, cocktails and ice cream social. Tickets start at $125 for this all-inclusive feast.

Gourmet & Grapes, Kiawah Island, SC (February 7-9)–Join Jordan Winemaker Rob Davis for a special luncheon at this culinary extravaganza. It’s the only fundraiser in the Lowcountry that brings together renowned chefs and winemakers at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort to raise money for cancer research.

Relish Culinary Center, Healdsburg Chef’s Table, Healdsburg, CA (February 10)–Meet the chefs that make Healdsburg a culinary mecca. Learn secrets, take home recipes, and ask questions about favorite dishes while you savor an amazing meal in an intimate setting. Jordan Executive Chef Todd Knoll is one of six local chefs selected to host a Chef’s Table at Relish, creating a spectacular dinner menu for 24 guests, paired with Jordan wines. $99 per person.

Valentine’s Dinner in the Dining Room for Two, Jordan Estate Rewards Exclusive, Healdsburg, CA (February 15)–Indulge in a decadent dinner in the Jordan dining room with fellow Jordan Estate Rewards members. Features seven courses paired with multiple vintages of Jordan wines. A wonderful way to experience the exclusivity of dining at the chateau while socializing with friends old and new. Valentine’s Dinner in the Dining Room for Two is limited to 30 guests and offered biennially for 10,000 points; two couples maximum per party.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami Beach, FL (February 20-23)–Jordan library vintages and latest releases will be poured at the Best of the Best Tasting on Friday evening, February 21.

A Night at the Estate for Two, Jordan Estate Rewards Exclusive, Healdsburg, CA (now through April 30)From November through April, enjoy an overnight stay in one of our luxury guest accommodations with expansive views of the Jordan Estate for half the points. In addition, choose from a private tour and tasting or tickets to Christmas at Jordan. Pre-Release of New Vintages, Jordan Estate Rewards Exclusive, Healdsburg, CA (April 1)–2010 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon and 2012 Jordan Chardonnay will be pre-released to Jordan Estate Rewards members, beginning April 1, 2014. These wines won’t reach the national marketplace until summer, so make sure you’re signed up to receive our monthly e-newsletter, which will include this offer.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine, Pebble Beach, CA (April 10-13)–For four days in April, one of California’s most prestigious coastal resorts turns into an exclusive culinary playground with this annual food and wine festival. Jordan wines will be showcased at the Lexus Grand Tastings, as well as private tastings for our Jordan Estate Rewards members and trade customers.

Estate Tour & Tasting at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (April 17-November 10)–Our first official season of the Jordan’s new Estate Tour & Tasting begins in mid-April. Journey to remote corners of the serene Jordan Estate to savor Jordan wines, olive oil and our chef’s cuisine—all paired with breathtaking views. Sunday Tastings at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (April 20-November 9)Starting in mid-April, Jordan reopens for tastings by appointment on Sundays through mid-November.

Austin Food & Wine Festival, Austin, TX (April 25-27)–Join top chefs, sommeliers and winemakers from across the nation and Austin’s own acclaimed gourmet scene for an indulgent, epicurean adventure unlike any other, topped off with live musical performances. Jordan’s Brad Butcher will be pouring Jordan wines at dinners and tastings. Presented by Food & Wine magazine.

Nantucket Wine Festival, Nantucket, MA (May 14-18)–Located on the island of Nantucket, 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, this event offers a distinct, coastal experience of world-class wines and food. Over its history, the Nantucket Wine Festival has become one of the nation’s most celebrated wine and food events. Jordan wines will be featured at multiple events.

Spring at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (May 17)–Experience our festive release party, Spring at Jordan. Hosted annually, this themed party celebrates the debut of our latest vintages while showcasing Jordan’s renowned hospitality with lavish décor, entertainment, and library wines, as well as delicious cuisine by our chef. The newly released 2012 Jordan Chardonnay and 2010 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon will be poured, as well as library wines and 2012 Jordan Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Memorial Day at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (May 26)–Celebrate Memorial Day at Jordan with one of our intimate tours and tastings. This is the second year that Jordan will be open on Memorial Day, and we hope you’ll celebrate the holiday with us.

New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, New Orleans, LA (May 21-24)–Taste Jordan vintages at Vinola at NOWFE, a festival which has raised more than $1 million for non-profit organizations over the last 20 years, while showcasing local food and chefs, and national and international wines.

Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Aspen, CO (June 20-22)–The nation’s premier culinary festival, Food & Wine Classic in Aspen is a three-day weekend that brings the FOOD & WINE brand to life with more than 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars, panel discussions, tasting events and the famed Grand Tasting Pavilion–all located at 8,000 feet in the magnificent setting of Aspen, Colorado.

Grand Cochon, Aspen, CO (June 22)–The grand finale of this epic roadshow featuring the 10 winning chefs–aka the prince or princesses or porc–from the 10-city Cochon 555 tour. Jordan wines will be served with some of the tastiest pork on the planet. Ticket prices and venue for this all-inclusive feast will be announced soon.

Sunset Supper at Jordan Vista Point, Healdsburg, CA (July 19)Enjoy our first-ever dinner party at Vista Point, the highest hilltop on Jordan Estate. A reception at our new Vista Point pavilion will be followed by a seated, multi-course meal amongst the grapevines—all paired with Jordan wines and panoramic views of Alexander Valley’s rolling hills and mountains during sunset. Hosted on Saturday, July 19, 2014, this event is limited to 50 guests. Sunset Supper at Vista Point for Two is available for 10,000 points or $200 per person. Sonoma Wine Country Weekend, Sonoma County, CA (August 29-31)–A wine and food event unlike any other, Sonoma Wine Country Weekend combines the unpretentious style of Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Ranch, with the festivity, elegance and pure fundraising spirit of the Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction at Chateau St. Jean. If that’s not enough, book an intimate winery lunch, dinner party, and barbecues for three unforgettable days of celebration.

Harvest Lunches at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (September 17October 16)–Celebrate wine country’s most exciting season with harvest lunch at Jordan, our annual series of family-style feasts, which are now hosted weekdays for six weeks during the fall harvest season. Harvest Lunches are offered for four people at 7,500 points. Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta, Santa Fe, NM (September 24-28)–The Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta promotes Santa Fe as a world-class culinary destination through its outstanding food and wine events. Hosted during the height of New Mexico’s chile harvest season, the festival features a variety of seminars, luncheons, cooking demonstrations/classes and wine tastings. 

Chicago Gourmet, Chicago, IL (September 26-28)–Chicago Gourmet, a celebration of food and wine, is one of the nation’s most anticipated culinary events. It features chef and sommelier seminars, as well as spirits, beers, and gourmet food samplings from more than 150 of Chicago’s best restaurants and chefs. Hundreds of renowned vintners, spirit makers and premium breweries from around the world are also showcased, including Jordan at the Grand Cru tastings.

New York City Wine & Food Festival, New York, NY (October 16-19)–The world’s best chefs and wine experts will gather in the Big Apple each October for the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine magazine. Proceeds benefit hunger-relief charities Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength. This star-studded event brings together the world’s greatest chefs, winemakers, spirits producers and personalities to educate palates and entertain patrons in high style—all while helping to fight hunger.

Christmas at Jordan, Healdsburg, CA (December 6)–Join us for Christmas at Jordan, our annual themed holiday event, hosted exclusively for our most loyal Jordan Estate Rewards members. Festive cuisine by the Jordan chef, library vintages, live entertainment and more with the backdrop of the Jordan oak tank room, barrel cellar and dining room.
