Last month, we unveiled our first-ever Sunset Supper at Vista Point event to Jordan Estate Rewards members, and it sold out within two days.

We thought wine lovers would be intrigued by a dinner in the vineyard event, hosted on Jordan Estate’s highest hilltop at sunset, but we didn’t realize it would be this popular.

Good news is that our chef has agreed to host a second event on Saturday, August 16. Cooking at 650-feet elevation a mile from his kitchen is no easy feat, but he’s always up for a challenge. The remote location and altitude, coupled with our hospitality, will surely make for a memorable meal.

During Sunset Supper at Vista Point, guests will enjoy a walk-around reception at Jordan’s new Vista Point pavilion (an open-air tasting space created for the new Jordan Estate Tour & Tasting), followed by a seated, multi-course dinner next to one of our vineyards—all paired with Jordan wines and panoramic views of Alexander Valley’s rolling hills and mountains during sunset. Our chef will create a menu to showcase Jordan’s organic garden and complement Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tickets are $200 per person or 10,000 Jordan Estate Rewards points for two people. Tickets may be purchased online at jordanwinery.com/shop. This event is limited to 50 guests.

If you can’t join us on August 16, you can still visit Vista Point through our new Estate Tour & Tasting experience. The Jordan Estate Tour & Tasting opens for its first full season on April 17, 2014.  (Take a virtual Jordan Estate Tour in our new edition of the Estate Tales magazine.) The four-destination excursion across the 1,200-acre Jordan Estate culminates with a seated food and wine pairing at Vista Point. It is offered Thursdays through Mondays through mid-November. The price is $120 per person. Reservation requests are now being accepted at jordanwinery.com/visit.
