A few months ago, our chef blogged about the California cheeses he’d selected to pair with three Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vintages that will be featured on our Tours & Tastings this year–2006, 2008 and 2010. In a recent Jordan Estate Rewards member e-newsletter, we unveiled a new six-bottle vertical collection of these wines. Here’s John Jordan describing the offer on video.

We enjoy pairing a young Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon with French Marin Cheese Company’s Black Truffle Triple Crème Brie, and Ewenique, a sheep’s milk cheese from Central Coast Creamery, highlights the subtle fruit nuances of aged Jordan Cabernet Sauvignons, such as the 2006. San Joaquin Gold from Fiscalini Cheese Company has a mellow, mildly sweet yet salty flavor with an almost crunchy texture that makes it sing with the 2008 Jordan Cabernet. (Learn more about these pairings on our chef’s blog post.)

Now that our annual release date is here, we’ve re-released the new three-vintage collection featuring the 2011 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon.
