After the restaurant industry’s most difficult y After the restaurant industry’s most difficult year in modern history, we were wondering how Wine & Spirits would publish its annual Restaurant Poll. What did they come up with? A deep and emotionally stirring look at the state of the restaurant industry through the eyes of sommeliers and restaurant customers. The cleverly titled, “RESTAURATIVE POWER” issue of Wine & Spirits, features the Top 50 wines consistently ranked in the last decade of Restaurant Polls, and Jordan is truly honored to make the list.

The remarkable resilience, creativity and tenacity of our friends is the restaurant world has been nothing short of heroic. They endured pivot after pivot after pivot. While it’s been devastating to see so many of our favorite restaurants close and not reopen, but there have also been many bright spots—positives that came from all the negative of 2020. Virtual winemaker dinners seem to be here to stay, and many restaurateurs we’ve spoken with say their creative to-go dinner programs aren’t going away anytime soon either. We are incredibly grateful for each and every worker in the on-premise community that continues to share Jordan wines with your customers in good times and in bad. Watching the restaurant business slowly begin is recovery this spring has been the sunshine in our wine glasses that we all needed. Optimism makes for a wonderful wine pairing.

Please join us in a toast to the return of the Roaring Twenties in 2021. We are looking forward to personally drinking Jordan in restaurants again, to seeing more of our customers order Jordan at their favorite restaurants again and to hosting our local Jordan fans at the winery again very soon.
