One of the best chardonnay vintages in California’s young winemaking history, 2012 produced so many recommended cabernet sauvignons in Napa and Sonoma that the queen of white wines’ quality was often overshadowed. That’s why Jordan Associate Winemaker Maggie Kruse and Assistant Winemaker John Duckett were excited to uncork an older chardonnay this month as part of our video series, Jordan Uncorked. In a toast to the vintage of the decade, they taste 2012 Jordan Chardonnay to see how it has evolved since harvest five years ago. Drink now or cellar? You might be surprised by their recommendation.

What vintage would you like to see them uncork next?
