365 Days Plant Growing Time Lapse Video: Lifecycle of a Cabernet Grapevine

Our first outdoor time-lapse video experiment is complete. We captured one year of a grapevine’s life at Jordan Estate in this plant growing time lapse video. We followed a Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon grapevine from winter pruning through spring bud break and flowering into summer fruit set and veraison, before the harvest fall foliage and winter dormancy again.

Learn more about the what happens when grapevines sleep and the importance of spring bud break.
